We lost a customer and a friend this week to a trajic traffic accident… Joe Schiano. Cape Fear Sportswear Wrap

We have been really busy over the past month and haven’t had a chance to update our Project of the Week section in a while. To make up for this we will be posting up a few recent projects over the next couple of days. This first featured project is a full enclosed trailer wrap for Cape Fear Sportswear in Wilmington. Cape Fear Sportswear came to us with a blank slate and needed to turn their 20′ enclosed trailer into a mobile billboard. Utilizing some provided model shots and their current brand identity, we turned their everyday trailer into a real head turner. Save the Squares T-Shirts

Due to an overwhelming number of customer requests for some shirts based on our popular sticker designs we have decided to introduce a new line of limited edition t-shirts. These shirts will be a limited run so once they’re gone, they’re gone!

We will start taking pre-orders for the shirts via our retail site EmpireGFX.com and they will be open through August 13th. To be sure your custom order is received before the shirts are made you will need to sumbit your pre-order by no later than August 13th. All pre-orders will be processed and shipped within a week of the closing of pre-orders.

Shirt Details

The shirts will be printed on Jerzees 50/50 pre-shrunk tees and available in sizes S-XXL.

Prices & Shipping

The shirts are $19 each (add $3 for XXL). Shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail and will cost $7. If you would like to get your order quicker we can upgrade your shipping to USPS Express mail for $19.

Custom Orders

Since this will be a custom run, we will accept custom shirt color requests and will also print the designs on other clothing like hoodies, tanks & long sleeve shirts as well for an additional charge. RE/MAX Truck Wraps

This week’s Project of the Week was a pair of box truck wraps for RE/MAX Essential of Wilmington, NC. RE/MAX Essential needed to get a pair of recently acquired box trucks wrapped before the busy holiday weekend. Being the wrap professionals we are, we gladly accepted the challenge! We believe the end results speak for themselves. Each side of the truck sports a different Re/MAX themed design which helps to keep people looking when they notice the different artwork on each panel. Both trucks are truly eye catching and will be great advertising tools while their customers utilize them for moving, etc. Check back next week for our latest Project of the Week!

Rizen Roofing XB Wrap

This week’s Project of the Week comes all the way from Atlanta, GA! Co-owner of Rizen Roofing, Inc. Joel Greco came to us wanting to help his business stand out from the crowd. We came up with a colorful, eye catching original vehicle wrap for their ’06 Scion XB featuring a color switching halftone pattern. Since this compact car’s roof is easily viewable we decided to wrap the roof as well which helped to tie in the 2 tone pattern of the wrap. Joel and his partner Jamie were more than satisfied with the final product and were turning heads all the way back to Atlanta! Check back next week for our latest Project of the Week!

Last Resort Boat Wrap

This week’s Project of the Week is a boat wrap for Last Resort Charters. Captain Wayne Crisco of Last Resort Charters came to us wanting to help get his company noticed. We came up with a clean and original design for his 22′ center console boat that featured a detailed underwater scene including a school of fish and realistic sun rays shining down through the cool depths of the ocean. We also completed a custom logo design and included numerous sponsors for his professional fishing tournaments. Wayne was very impressed with the final outcome and continues to get compliments where ever he goes. Check back next week for our latest Project of the Week!

Flaming Fleet Graphics

This Week’s Project of the Week is a graphics re-work on one of Eckhardt Construction’s ’07 Chevy Silverado. Dennis, the owner of Eckhardt Construction came to Empire to give his daily driver pickup a little makeover. He wanted to showcase their fire & water damage services by utilizing some realistic flames to grab his potential customer’s attention. We came up with a simple and effective use of realistic flames along with his standard oval logo to integrate with the truck’s total graphics package. The final result is far more eye catching and visually appealing than the traditional silver lettering his truck had previously. Tile Werk Wrap

This week’s project of the week is a combination logo design & vehicle wrap for Tile Werk. They came to Empire to get a professional corporate identity and custom van wrap. Being from Germany, Billy wanted to pay homage to his homeland by utilizing a traditional German style crest. The end result is an authentic is a clean and professional looking identity that represents the high quality tile work that Billy’s company produces.

After we had the logo and color scheme locked down we went to work on the wrap layout. We decided to take advantage of the van’s already loud and attention getting paint color (DHL Yellow). We kept things relatively simple with the design and decided that a partial wrap would bring home the overall design without taking away from the attention getting color or his budget! We made sure to showcase Tile Werk’s top notch quality and range of installation types.

Kids Korner Signage

This weeks Featured Project is a sign re-do for Kids Korner Learning Center in Hampstead, NC. Kids Korner came to us wanting to improve their roadside visibility while utilizing their existing signage. We decided to go with a bright color palate and and a playful font. Keeping things simple, we also added some silhouettes of children playing and interacting with each other.

The final product reflects their child friendly atmosphere and is easy to read while driving by. The bright white background flows nicely with the white framed structure and the bright colors accented by black outlines help the sign “pop” which is exactly what the customer wanted.
